December Existing-Home Sales Climb Higher

The National Association of Realtors has reported that total existing-home sales, which includes single-family homes, condominiums, co-op and townhouses increased in 3.6% in December from November, to a SAAR of 5.54 million. When compared to existing homes sales in December 2018, overall sales increased 10.8%. On a 12 month, full-year basis, total existing-home sales ended at 5.34 million, the exact same level as sales in 2018.
